Francisco A. Acebo MD was born at Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi and was raised working on the family ranch in Hebbronville, Texas. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Texas at Austin where he pursued his love for medicine and chemistry by receiving his bachelors of science degree in pharmacy. After graduating from the College of Pharmacy in 1984, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He did his three-year family practice residency at Memorial Hospital Corpus Christi and then pursued a career in private practice. He started his private practice in 1991 and has remained insole practice for the past 27 years. He is currently a member of Texas Medical Association and Nueces County Medical Society. He has hospital privileges at Spohn Shoreline and Post Acute Long-Term Care Facility. In addition to his private practice, he has been a hospice medical director for a local hospice for over 20 years which allows him the added benefit of visiting patients and family’s at their home. It has been his privilege to serve as medical director for Charlie’s Place since 2008.
